Hi there, I'm Kristy.  Welcome to my lifestyle blog.

I'm a pastor's wife. Full-time mom of two teenage daughters and three young sons. Home educator and lifelong learner.

I'm a writer-at-heart. I've been sharing my thoughts as a growth mindset blogger since 2007 (so pull up a chair and read a while).

Living well is my passion; at the end of the day, I'd like to think that something I write here will inspire others to do the same.

I believe that Christian women should be well-read, well-dressed, and well-equipped for the lives God has called us to live.

Most any day of the week you'll find me pursuing quiet places, reading, teaching my kids and trying to lean into God's grace just a little deeper.

Thank you for being here. And for being open to a lifestyle of growth, learning, and excellence.

I look forward to getting to know you better.

Here's to living well-  xoxo, Kristy

Love to journal? Check out my free printables.

Being the introspective woman that I am, I love journaling.

Most weeks, I include a free worksheet that you can download and print, and use in your own quiet time.

"7 Surprising Habits of Productive Women," free gift for Kristy's Cottage subscribers.

Use these worksheets like a personal journal; the idea is to help you understand yourself a little better, become more aware, and grow in your capacities to live and love well.

Now that you've learned a little about this blog, I hope you'll stick around!

Please pull up a chair, pour a cup of tea, and enjoy yourself.

I'm always just an email away, so please feel free to comment or contact me with your input, questions and comments. I'm not always on top of my email game, but I promise to read and respond.
