This Pumpkin Spice Granola is currently our favorite homemade granola flavor!
It absolutely smacks of autumn.
This recipe is simple enough that my eight-year old can make it completely without help.
If you’re gluten sensitive, use gluten-free oats. Our family rolls our own fresh oats with bulk groats from Azure Standard.
Pumpkin Spice Granola
½ C butter (1 stick)
½ C oil
½ C raw honey, agave nectar, or maple syrup
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp sea salt
1 TBSP pure vanilla
8 C rolled oats
Place oats in a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
In a medium to large sauce pan, gently melt butter over medium heat. Stir in oil (coconut, safflower, or olive oil are my personal favorites), and sweetener of choice. Add spices, sea salt, and vanilla and stir to combine.
Pour mixture over oats and gently stir until combined. Bake in a 325-degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring every 20 minutes.
Serve with milk or yogurt.
Store your granola in an air tight container.
This recipe freezes well, so feel free to make a double batch if you want to keep extra on hand for later!
