I love layering! Cami’s, Half Tee’s, and tank tops are practical, fashionable, and a staple for every modest mama’s wardrobe!
I wear a lot of Half Tee’s. As a mommy with a nursing baby, Half Tee’s are my favorite layering garment right now; they’re super comfy and practical!
My sister recently created her own DIY tutorial for making your own half tee’s. These are simple to make and very inexpensive.
Here’s a peak at Julie’s recent project:
Half Tee’s are cropped under shirts that provide extra modesty – such as a decent neck line and longer sleeves – without the extra bulk and heat of a full-length under shirt.
Today, I went to my favorite thrift store and bought three tee’s for about $2 each. For these under shirts, I looked for a couple things:
1. Light weight material for easy layering
2. High neck lines that wouldn’t need further layers
3. Sleeve length of my personal preference
4. Colors that coordinate with my wardrobe
These tee’s were transformed in less than one hour – total!
