I’m dropping in during the middle of the week to remind you that we’ll be starting a blook club here at the blog in just a few days.
Beginning this Friday (March 15), I’ll be posting once-a-week about a different chapter in Sally Clarkson’s new book, Girls’ Club.
You can read the book as slowly or quickly as you want, of course, but I’ll be unpacking one, new chapter at the blog every Friday.
The book has twelve chapters, so our book club will run for about twelve weeks.
If you’re familiar with Sally’s previous books, then you already know that her writing style is delightfully conversational!
Sally wrote Girls’ Club with her two adult daughters, Sarah and Joy, who are both equally gifted writers.
I’m currently wrapping up my initial read of Girls’ Club–and getting ready to begin again at chapter one, with you!- and I can tell you that I’ve been deeply encouraged and affirmed by the message of this book.
The timing of reading Girls’ Club has been quite significant for me.
God brought the message of this book into my life in the midst of a difficult time, when I desperately needed reminded about the importance of friendship and community.
I personally believe this book will be a meaningful read for every woman.
I’d be delighted for you to join me here every Friday over the next few weeks as we journey together through Girls’ Club!
Where to buy Girls’ Club:
If you don’t already own a copy of Sally’s new book, you can find it at most Christian books stores.
If you’d prefer to order it online, you still have time to grab a copy from Amazon and have it in hand by the time our book club launches here on the blog Friday, March 15th!
By the way, I highly recommend the companion workbook, Girls’ Club Experience! You can order that from Amazon here.
Sally’s book has been a timely read for me in this season of life and I can’t wait to share it with you!
Please feel free to share this post and invite your girl friends to join us for a journey into Girl’s Club.
Here’s to living & loving well-
